Sierra Foothills Wine-Sipping through the Sierra (Sipping Amador)

We just love wine-dinners and this series is titled: Sipping through the Sierra where we pair owner-chef, Victor's great menus with our favorite Sommelier, Nicole Darracq's, top selections from each of three Sierra Foothill regions.

We started the series on November 9th, with Sipping Calaveras, and continue with Sipping Amador on February 22nd, a sunday. Victor presents the menu to Nicole who will taste her way through Amador County seeking wines she considers to be best o fthe region for pairing with our menu with an eye to value if there were equally delicious choices. We will develop our menu over the next couple of weeks and publish it online at www.HotelCharlotte.com/sipping.html

Throughout dinner Nicole will present her unique twist on food/wine pairings. We have enjoyed Nicole's presentations before and are sure to come away with something new and refreshing this year too.

Sipping Through the Sierra continues with Sipping Eldorado on Sunday, March 22. Tickets are $64 per event.
