Food and wine pairing is a subjective process. Old rules of red with meat--white with fish are out and experimentation is in! Tonight’s class will pair 3 Pinot Noirs from different regions with a starter of Oregon blue cheese gourgers and butter lettuce vinaigrette, Moroccan style roasted fish with caramelized onions and raisins—served with a spinach couscous with pine nuts, and a Pinot Noir zabaglione with red grapes and gruyere. Enjoy an intimate setting one–on-one with Chef Manny Castillo as he demonstrates each recipe and pours each pinot. We’ll supply the food and wine and you’ll bring your favorite tasting glass, sit back and enjoy the evening. Chef Manny Castillo, also reps for Liquid Assets--a fine wine company whose focus in on small estate wines sold directly for restaurants and fine wine shops.
